The Saturday First XI beat Putney away, the 2nd XI lost in the reverse fixture. Paul Mock and Tom Bennett got Long Ditton off to a good start, before the all-too common mid order collapse took place. Adam Barlow batted sensibly at number 10, managing to get the score to 120 and a batting point, before the innings closed. Demon bowler Lawrence Heggarty picked up a couple of wickets, but Putney were never under any pressure. On Sunday, the Development side lost against Valley End, whilst the 2nd XI narrowly lost against Spencer. On Bank Holiday Monday, the game against Grouse and Label was abandoned before Long Ditton had completed their innings, due to heavy drizzle.
