The First XI had an excellent win over Horley on Saturday, battling back from 2 wickets down with only 1 on the board, to beat Horley. James Chapple was undoubtedly the man of the match, scoring 47, then taking 9 wickets to bowl Horley out for 89. The Second XI had no luck go whatsoever go their way away at Roehampton, being beaten by 60 runs.
On Sunday, the First XI’s friendly game was abandoned in the 17th over, due to a cloudburst at Walton, whilst the 2nd XI drew at home.
