Summer is still yet to arrive and no games were possible for LDCC Seniors on Saturday, on what should have been the first round of the Fuller’s League. The 1st XI game at Guildford City was called off on Thursday evening, and despite the best efforts of Dave Oldham, the game at home against Horley was called off at around 1oam on Saturday morning. The ground was just fit for play early on Saturday morning, but then yet more rain arrived, meaning a second Saturday washed out. Fingers crossed for Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday!
