The Under 11s had an excellent win away at Leatherhead on Sunday. Having lost the toss, Long Ditton managed to restrict Leatherhead to 98 for 5 in their 20 overs. Quite a few extras bumped up the score, no doubt something the Head Coach will be looking at! Jack and Ravi were the pick of the bowlers, taking 2 wickets each.
In reply, Jamie, Matt and Joe were all in the runs, which made the difference between the sides. Jamie scored 22, Matt 28 not out and Joe 26, hitting an amazing 5 boundaries. Captain Matt steered LDCC home, to win by 6 wickets. Cut and paste the link below to see the full scorecard:

The Under 13s didn’t fare quite as well, losing at home in the local derby against Thames Ditton by 6 wickets.
