St Matthew’s Primary School team, which, according to our local reporter, seems to be made up entirely of LDCC players was 5th out of 11 in a kwik cricket tournament at Chessington today. A great result, considering their are so many strong school teams around the area. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Don’t forget the upcoming quiz night at the club, from 8pm on Friday, 25th May. Entry costs £1 per player and teams should be no more than 5. Last year was packed, hopefully this year will be the same. At least it is one event that the weather can’t ruin!
The appalling weather put paid to another match this evening, with the first U17s match at Weybridge being called off. Hopefully it can be re-arranged.
